The park is characterized by an architectonic style with its straight tree-lined alleys and flowerbeds. The rows of linden trees on either side of the park create a hall-like space.

It has retained its original appearance to this day and attracts between 300-800 swimmers daily. Compared to other swimming halls in the city, Yrjönkatu swimming hall is unique in that bathing suits are not required, as the swimming pool's opening hours are divided into women's and men's sessions. You can also enjoy the historic spa atmosphere with lounge cabins, restaurant services and various saunas on the second floor of the swimming hall.
