Opened on the 5th of May 2024, Helsinki welcomed the first NH Collection hotel in Finland and the second hotel of Minor Hotels in the Nordics. The new NH Collection Helsinki Grand Hansa hotel will combine two of the city’s most iconic and recognizable buildings: the Kaleva building (known as the Hotel Seurahuone) and the New Student House (home to the famous Hansa Hotel between 1924-1968), as well as a more recently constructed extension. The hotel’s Grand Ballroom witnessed the most opulent banquets, remarkable concerts, and literary events among other notable celebrations and social gatherings. Grand Hansa is a landmark that blends magnificent architecture with a glorious heritage and tells stories about the city’s history and growth. After the renovation, the enduring cultural symbol of the capital will unveil the elegance of the past and comfort of the present with superior amenities and services. NH Collection Grand Hansa is in the very heart of Helsinki. At the crossroads of two of the main streets of the city, Mannerheimintie and Kaivokatu, this exceptional location in front of the Central Railway Station provides the ideal base for both leisure and business guests.
