Our sprawling sea decks stretches the entire length of the hotel and from here you will enjoy uninterrupted views of Great & Little Hangman and the rolling hills of Exmoor, Sandy Cove Hotel could not be situated in a more spectacular position. Set in acres of lovely grounds and private woodlands near picturesque Ilfracombe and Combe Martin, there is a special ambiance of unpretentious style and immense warmth about the Hotel. Whenever you visit Sandy Cove you can rely on the highest standards of comfort. There are a range of rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and the usual luxuries. Many have breathtaking sea views of the beautiful North Devon coast and the West Country. For the romantic at heart we have 4-poster beds and honeymoon suites. You’ll have the best seat in the house while cruising aboard the classic 42′ Grand Banks yacht, the Rainbird. The Rainbird is meticulously maintained and cared for, and shows it throughout. The vessel offers comfort throughout with comfortable seating in the deck area, a fly bridge deck gives you a second floor viewing area for entertaining and taking in the incredible views of Seattle’s awesome sunsets, and a lounge below-deck to get out of the wind, if desired, with refrigerator, stove, oven and microwave. There are also two staterooms, each with its own ‘head’ and shower. The master stateroom has a center island queen bed with an office desk. The forward stateroom offers double twin-size beds in a v-berth layout. The Rainbird is centrally located, close to downtown Seattle, Lake Union, U of W, and Lake Washington.
