Our organization takes a holistic and action-driven approach to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. We are proud to be a Pride at Work partner and to have all of our properties officially Rainbow Registered through Canada’s LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce, meeting rigorous standards to ensure 2SLGBTQI+ guests and employees feel safe, welcomed, and respected. We’ve implemented progressive policies such as a deadname operating procedure to protect individuals from being misgendered, and we continually update training and onboarding programs to foster an inclusive workplace. Our commitment extends beyond policy into meaningful action and education. We actively engage in Indigenous learning and reconciliation, partnering with local Nations, commissioning cultural storytelling projects, and joining initiatives like the Tribal Park Allies program to support ecological and cultural resurgence. We also provide rooms for elders during emergencies and host ceremonies to honor the Nations whose lands we operate on. We prioritize anti-racism education through leadership workshops on power, privilege, and race, and company-wide events like Orange Shirt Day and Anti-Bullying Day that combine celebration with education. Additionally, we embrace sex positivity as part of our inclusivity values, creating campaigns and spaces that normalize and celebrate consensual adult sexuality without shame—culminating in the launch of The Love Nest, Canada’s first hotel room designed intentionally for intimacy. These initiatives reflect our belief that DE&I is not a checkbox—it’s a continuous journey of learning, action, and accountability.
