Le Rex Room est situé dans un bâtiment historique néo-grec de deux étages situé à l'angle des rues Bourbon et Conti, dans le célèbre quartier français de La Nouvelle-Orléans. Construite en 1847 par le célèbre architecte Francis D. Gott, la demeure présente des détails architecturaux classiques de la Nouvelle-Orléans du XIXe siècle, notamment son balcon panoramique d'origine.
