Relais Villa d’Assio is the meticulous fruit of ristruction project on an eighteenth century village, where nothing of the original construction has been cancelled, rivalutising antique materials from time gone by. The 4 star hotel is a new jewel in tourism for the Lazio Country. Situated in the tranquillità of the splendid countryside of Rosea, around the remains of the superb Villa of Quinto Assio Roman senator I Century b.C. In each area the cure to details is evident to assure maximum comfort to the guest in all simplicity. The magical atmosphere of the Rosea Countryside offer fascinatine pleasure to travellers in all seasons, the gentle breeze of a summer evening to the light of winters days. It is a joy to be outside, with the sun changing in a thousand colors reflected in the water of the pool, frame with lucious green pastures, across the cristal clean waters of the river. In such surroundings it is ideal for walks, cycling or equitation trips in fresh air, limpid waters and seductive panorama. A real corner of Paradise. The hotel has expertly risen in the Riserve of Lakes Lungo and Ripasottile, the Santa Susanna canal runs threw the property offering a rich activity of fishing. The hotel is with a few km from Terminillo ski resort and equal distance from Terni and Rieti; a perfect base for visiting the lake area and Umbria. Nearby the incantable lake of Pediluco and famous Marmore waterfalls. The position in the Rieti country is perfectly central of Italy, thereby called “Umbilicus italiae” or navel of Italysince ancient times, permits to visit many intersting place for art, history, religion suh as PERUGIA, ASSISI, SPOLETO and only 60 min. from ROME. This oasis of peace and natural beauty also offers a long the miandering path of rivers and lush green hills; an open air swimming pool, pictch for football, basketball and tennis courts. The perfect choice for a holiday in open air for country lovers. On the property one can admire the archeological site of the original roman villa. Our Chef is a specialist in providing homemade food: in fact, bread, “pasta”, “pizza”, cakes and cookies are prepared daily. The Restaurant offers great panoramic views and delicious food focused on traditional cuisine, exclusively using top quality local ingredients that come from the farm’s owner of the Relais (Tenuta Rosea), following the ethical principles of “0 km cuisine”. COOKING CLASSES “PANE, AMORE E FANTASIA “ (Bread, love and fantasy) PIZZA We'll meet guests at the kitchen where a local pizza chef (Mirella), called a "pizzaiola," will teach you the art of making pizza from scratch. Every participant makes their own pizza, starting with the dough, then covering it with a light yet flavorful tomato sauce and finally popping it in the oven to bake. And when the pizza is cooked to perfection... of course, you'll get to taste it!
