Le Playitas Resort est situé dans la baie pittoresque du village de pêcheurs de Las Playitas, dans la municipalité de Tuineje sur l'île de Fuerteventura. Il se trouve à mi-chemin entre l'aéroport de Puerto del Rosario et Jandía, dans le sud de l'île. La grande ville la plus proche, Gran Tarajal, à 5 kilomètres, est facilement accessible par les transports en commun et propose une grande variété de restaurants et de boutiques. Le complexe se compose de 3 établissements différents : Playitas Aparthotel-idéal pour les familles avec 114 studios et 96 appartements, Playitas Hotel-parfait pour les personnes seules ou les couples avec 167 chambres doubles, 52 suites junior et 4 suites avec piscine et Playitas Villas, parfait pour des vacances exclusives avec 24 villas. Le Playitas Resort est en train de devenir le plus grand centre sportif et d'entraînement d'Europe. Il propose une grande variété d'activités sportives : natation, vélo, triathlon, golf, centre cyclable (avec VTT, vélos de route et vélos de fitness), etc. Son équipe sportive vous propose un large éventail de programmes sportifs : aérobic, spinning, tonification corporelle, karaté aérobic, aquagym, etc. Au Playitas Resort, vous trouverez une salle de sport de 700 m2, une piscine olympique de 50 m, un parcours de golf 18 trous avec practice et une académie de golf PGA, des courts de tennis, un centre de vélo, un terrain de volley-ball et bien plus encore. Il propose également des sports nautiques : planche à voile, cat-sailing, centre de plongée, etc.
