Le Continental Hotel Lausanne a été construit en 1964 pour répondre à la demande générée par l'exposition nationale. Le Continental propose 116 chambres non-fumeurs, toutes entièrement rénovées en 2009 avec des technologies de pointe, un service personnalisé et une climatisation à réglage individuel. Toutes les chambres sont équipées d'une télévision à écran plat, de la vidéo à la demande et d'un accès Internet WIFI gratuit.
