Construit sur le campus de l'École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, le Rolex Learning Center fonctionne comme un laboratoire d'apprentissage, une bibliothèque de 500 000 volumes et un centre culturel international pour l'EPFL, ouvert à la fois aux étudiants et au public. À la bibliothèque, cinq bulles transparentes recouvrent dix salles de réunion. Il dispose également d'un forum Rolex pour accueillir divers séminaires et conférences.
