Sokos Hotel Levi is a modern and attractive leisure hotel of high standard that also meets international requirements. The northernmost hotel in the Sokos Hotels chain, Sokos Hotel Levi is superbly located in the very heart of Levi, in close proximity to all services and activities. Lapland’s natural beauty and its seasonal variety are strongly felt in the hotel’s interiors and atmosphere. With 202 rooms in three buildings, the hotel’s colour schemes reflect Lapland’s summer brightness, autumn russets and subdued tints of the dark winter period. The sauna department features two saunas and a Jacuzzi bath. The hotel also has the airy private restaurant Kiisa and the café/lobby bar Coffee House.

The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Yes, Plastic straws and stirrers replaced with eco-friendly alternatives offered on request. Branded plastic pens are replaced with recyclable pens. Use of refillable soaps and shampoos where possible. Pins in hotel rooms to help sort plastic waste.
