The Arena itself is home to a 50 metre Olympic swimming pool which caters for spectators and draws crowds for all water sports events. The swimming pool is used for both recreational purposes and lanes. Swimming lessons are provided and the facility also has a sauna and steam room.

He has helped create the appeal of Full Strength Funk Band, as a founding member, and has played all over San Diego and Orange County with Liquid Blue, Wild Nights, Tom Benzon, Casanova Serenade and even with the Tito Puente band as a guest artist for a Latin jazz special. As a solo artist, Kevin was the featured entertainer at UC San Diego’s commencement ceremony in front of 7000 people, and has played The Aventine La Jolla, Mission Bay Yacht Club, The Thursday Club, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, Bernardo Winery, University Club, Kona Kai Resort, Cafe 21, The Prado in Balboa Park, Tipsy Crow, Mesa College Art Gallery, Del Mar Fair,Liberty Station, and Coronado Landing. Kevin was a standout alto saxophonist in elementary and middle school, then switched to tenor sax as an adult.
