Welcome to Boutereys Catering, the specialist party planners and wedding caterers, dedicated to creating fantastic canapés, dinners and buffets as well as designing and organising beautiful weddings, corporate events and private parties. As one of the leading caterers in Nelson, we have an enviable reputation for delicious food made from ingredients sourced from all over the Nelson/Tasman region. Getting it right on the night is key – there are no dress rehearsals and our experienced and energetic team of event and wedding planners, professional chefs and wait staff provide peace of mind on the night for our clients as well as offering an outstanding level of party planning and catering services in and around Nelson.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Liberated from the confines of a single location, Covert Cocktail Club now brings the speakeasy right to your door—be it at your home, office, bar mitzvah, dinner party, bachelor/ette party or anywhere you choose!
