Hilton offers comprehensive carbon offsetting options through its Carbon Neutral Meetings program, part of the Meet with Purpose initiative. This program allows meeting and event planners to offset the carbon emissions generated by their events. Hilton has partnered with ClimeCo to procure carbon credits, which are invested in high-quality carbon reduction projects. Using the LightStay platform, Hilton provides a Meeting Impact Calculator report that predicts and details the carbon, energy, water, and waste generated by each event. This data helps planners make informed decisions to reduce their environmental impact. By integrating these practices, Hilton supports sustainable development and helps protect the environment.

Has your hotel taken steps to reduce single-use plastics, such as removing plastic straws (except upon request for guests with disabilities), stirrers and cotton buds? If yes, please provide detail as to the steps you have taken to reduce single use plastics?

Yes, Hilton is committed to reducing waste across our portfolio. All of our hotels were required to remove plastic straws, stir sticks and cocktail picks in 2019, and we are currently transitioning from individual bath toiletries to full-size dispensers.
