L'hôtel Aroi Bierzo Plaza a été rénové à l'été 2009. Il est situé au cœur de la vieille ville de Ponferrada, sur la Plaza del Ayuntamiento (place de la mairie). L'hôtel est parfaitement situé pour les voyageurs d'affaires et les touristes. Depuis l'hôtel, vous pourrez facilement accéder à plusieurs attractions touristiques telles que : le château des Templiers (XIIe siècle), le musée de la radio, le musée Bierzo, la basilique d'Encina et autres. Les 34 chambres avec salle de bains privative ont été conçues pour combiner les caractéristiques enchanteresses des anciens bâtiments restaurés avec tout le confort de la maison. Les chambres et les salles de bain ont été restaurées avec les meilleurs matériaux pour créer une atmosphère confortable et chaleureuse pour nos hôtes. Le restaurant La Violeta dispose d'une grande salle de banquet pour les réceptions privées et les célébrations, d'une capacité totale de 120 personnes.
