You will be stunned by the narrow streets inside the old walls. In the central square, you will be greeted by a statute of the most famous inhabitant of Piran. The renowned composer and virtuoso violinist, Giuseppe Tartini, was born right next to it. At the pier, you will see a fisherman untangling his fishing net. A Piran farmer woman will have just brought her produce to the Farmer’s Vegetable market by the time you arrive.
