Hyatt Regency Qingdao, the first city resort located on the beach in Northern China, is ideally situated in the heart of the city’s new business, commercial and entertainment district. It is the newest addition to world-renowned Hyatt Hotels & Resorts portfolio and is the first Hyatt hotel in Qingdao. Qingdao, known as the “Pearl on the Yellow Sea”, situated in the southern part of Shandong Province, is renowned for its natural scenery, beautiful coastline and pleasant climate. It is also recognized as an important port city along the east coast of China and a major tourism destination full of history. There are so many villas that the scenic spot is known as a World Architecture Museum. Eight of the roads are named after the eight major passes of the Great Wall, and thus the area was named “Badaguan” (“Eight Great Passes”).
