Sheraton Grand Rio Hotel & Resort was voted by The Telegraph one of the 10 best luxury hotels to stay in Rio de Janeiro. In the survey carried by that media specialists were considered the following aspects: restaurants, bars, leisure area, view and service, in the neighborhoods Copacabana, Ipanema, Barra, Santa Teresa and Leblon. The review emphasizes the location of the resort, the only one in the city with direct access to the beach. In addition to that, the decoration of the complex that was totally renewed a year ago, an investment of more than $ 55 million dollars, providing sophistication in all four restaurants and three bars and preserved the landscaped leisure area made by Burle Marx. The entire hotel overlooks the sea and the stunning beaches of Leblon and Ipanema.
