L'hôtel Nickisch se trouve à la périphérie de la ville, à proximité de la forêt royale. Il est assis et très bien relié à la sortie d'autoroute Schuttorf A30/A31. Il est situé au pied de la forêt de Teutoburger, où la nature élémentaire de l'Emsland et le paysage voisin ressemblant à un parc hollandais se fondent dans des paysages variés. L'hôtel Nickisch propose 35 chambres lumineuses, agréablement élégantes et confortables. Il dispose également de sept salles de réunion.
