Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen is located in the heart of Futian, the central district of Shenzhen. The hotel is steps away from the newly opened Futian Station, which is a station on the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link. It is the largest underground station in Asia, and the second largest in the world. It is also within walking distance to Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, Central Walk and Coco Park and surrounded by shopping malls, bars, cinemas and supermarkets. Close to Lotus Mountain and only a 20-minute drive to local attractions, such as the Window of the World, Splendid China and OTC Loft, it is ideal for team buildings and provides convenient access to Shenzhen Airport and Hong Kong. The 40-storey luxury hotel houses 528 guestrooms and 53 serviced apartments offering impressive city and park views. Its 4,800-square-metre extensive conferencing and catering facilities can host functions of any size or type and offers signature events for 20 to 2,000 persons.

The hotel is near to several main sights in the city center, such as Civic Center and Cultural Center. Located at the Futian CBD centre, Civil Center is actually the office building for the Shenzhen government. With its roof extending 486 meters east to west, the architecture resembles the flying wing of the roc. It takes 20 minutes’ walk and 10 minutes’ taxi to Civil Center from the hotel. The CBD Cultural Center is next to Civil Center, which is filled with the main cultural symbol of the city, including Shenzhen Concert Hall, Shenzhen Museum, Shenzhen Library and Book City.

Situated opposite to the hotel, Central Walk contains supermarkets like Carrefour, fashion stores like Zara, and local restaurants. Link City is an underground shopping mall. Starting from the basement of Central Walk, it passes main buildings of the CBD area, connects two metro stations and ends at Coco Park. Coco Park is one of the largest and most fashionable night-life venues in Shenzhen with a great deal of international restaurants and fashion stores. The Coco Park Bar Street wraps along one sidewalk around the building packed with young people during the night.
