Sunderland Association Football Club is located in Sunderland, England. Home to Sunderland AFC since 1997, the 49,000 capacity Stadium of Light has become an established and instantly recognisable part of the Barclays Premier League landscape. It embraces the north east regions’ rich and proud heritage, whilst offering some of the finest modern-day facilities anywhere in the country. Boasting high ceilings to accommodate large stage sets and a moveable stage and dance floor, this suite comfortably holds up to 700 guests* for dinner or 600 guests to view presentations or conferences, proving hugely popular for events including exhibitions, trade shows, annual dinners and awards ceremonies. All of the adaptable event space on the first floor can link together for larger events, hosting 2,000 people in reception style and offering a major space for launches and gatherings.
