About us

The Holden Manz wine estate is nestled between the Franschhoek and Stony Brook rivers amidst the majestic mountain range of the Franschhoek valley. Our 22 hectare wine estate benefits from wonderfully fertile and dark loam soils and a state of the art wine making cellar under the supervision of award winning winemaker Schalk Opperman. The beautifully restrained architecture, with its exposed thatched roof, allows the eye to flow freely through the large spaces. All suites have perfectly appointed modern rooms with ample space for a near spa-experience indulgence. From there it is a short stroll along the river, or through the vineyards, to the sensational Franschhoek Kitchen, our estate restaurant, and yours for this special night. We specialize in weddings up to 140 guests.
