Furore Inn Resort is a marvellous hideaway resort set on a hill between Amalfi and Positano and offering wonderful views of the coastline. Consisting of a central main building built in 1985 and two wings which were originally the summer residence of the Bishop of Amalfi, this five star luxury hotel offers stylish accommodation and a wealth of leisure facilities spread over seven terraces. Each of the 22 ensuite rooms and suites offers wonderful sea views. They are light and bright with coloured Vietri ceramic flooring, modern light wooden furniture and pastel coloured soft furnishings and are air-conditioned and well appointed to ensure the comfort of guests. The resort boasts two exceptional restaurants - La Volpe Pescatrice with two spectacular terraces overlooking the sea and The Italian Touch. Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
