The Skeffington Arms Hotel; or The Skeff as the locals call it, is knows as Galway’s meeting place. Since 1850 the people of Galway have been coming to The Skeff for the great quality food, the friendliness of our staff and the lively nightlife but most importantly they come here for the Sceil (gossip), to meet old friends and catch up over a drink or two. Whatever your occasion or requirement we invite you to; like thousands before you, make The Skeff your meeting place. Whatever your occasion the Skeff can help you celebrate. Being the Largest bar in the West of Ireland means we can happily cater for a number of different groups at the same time. With a live 2-3 piece band and DJ every night of the week we have the atmosphere, the space, the great staff and Quality food to make your occasion unforgettable.
