About us

Cedar House is a perfect place to spend time exploring gisborne and surrounds or taking a break and relaxing in luxurious surroundings. Enjoy luxury accommodation at Cedar House B&B and Lodge Gisborne. This Edwardian Mansion was originally built in 1909 for the prominent Muir family of Gisborne. Her long history includes use as a private school for girls, an exclusive Hotel and Restaurant, before being transformed into Gisborne's leading Lodge and Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Cedar House offers private function room for meetings/functions.
