Just a short five miles away from our resort, you'll find Cayman Spirits Distillery, the only source of handcrafted spirits in the Cayman Islands. The Cayman Spirits Distillery offers tours every day except Sunday, and venue rental is also available for private group tours. Join them for a behind-the-scenes look at how local rum, vodka, and gin is produced, from sugar cane to finished product! Explore their 1200 gallon Vendome copper pot still, 30 foot tall Gun Bay Vodka tower, and original Christian Carl pot still that is used to perfect their Seven Fathoms Rum. After their interesting tour, prepare to sample fresh batches of their handcrafted Seven Fathoms Rum, Gun Bay Vodka, and Governor's Reserve Rum. Plus, try their seasonal "Distiller's Special" – a rare creation only available at the Cayman Spirits Distillery.

Lost for generations, Cayman Crystal Caves is the island’s newest nature attraction. Just a 30-minute drive from the resort, the caves are easily accessible by car or shuttle. All visitors receive a guided tour of “Cayman Down Under,” where you’ll be taken on an exploration journey venturing through the open-ceiling cave, the roots cave, and the lake cave, all of which have formed over millions of years under the unique tropical forest nature. You’ll see stalactite and stalagmite crystal structures as well as otherworldly formations, formed by single drops of water and the slow passage of time. Don’t forget to look out for tropical plant and animal life, including air plants and parrots. Hundreds of years ago, Pirates used these caves as hideouts, and also as shelters from the elements. Legend has it that there are pirate treasures buried in the caves! Tours are approximately 1 ½ hours. Maximum group size: 20.

After a breezy ride through crystal clear waters, you'll anchor down at a group of sandbars, 25 miles from Grand Cayman shore, where the majestic southern Atlantic Stingrays are known to congregate. Here, in three feet of water, you'll be able to swim with, feed, and take pictures with our friendly, gentle giants. Red Sail instructors will be on-hand with helpful information and tips throughout the excursion. Don't forget to kiss a Stingray for seven years good luck! Stingray City Sandbar Excursions range from 3-5 hours. Red Sail Sports offers multiple Stingray excursions, many of which have two-stops so you can pair this once-in-a-lifetime experience with a trip to Rum Point, Starfish Point, or a coral reef snorkel-stop.
