On the way up the Grimsel pass, the Hotel Handeck lies like an oasis in the midst of an alpine world. As a first class nature resort, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes and mountaineering tours, but also for adventurous rides on the Gelmer funicular - the steepest funicular in Europe - or for crossing the spectacular Handeckfall swing bridge. The 3-star Hotel Handeck offers 39 rooms that can be ideal for the guests where they can relax and enjoy.
