Welcome to DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hainan Chengmai, where our friendly staff look forward to greeting you at check-in with a warm chocolate chip cookie. Located in the beautiful Mangrove Bay area along the west coast of Hainan, the hotel offers easy access to Haikou Meilan International Airport. The resort is ten minutes from an 18-hole golf course and adjacent to an exciting wetlands theme park, and is also near the Old Town Economic Development Zone. With a grand ballroom, four flexible meeting rooms and a boardroom, this Chengmai hotel is ideal for conferences, product launches and weddings.

The Mangrove Bay Wetland covers an area of 1.47-square-kilometers and features many entertainment options. The wetland offers 7 recreational areas, including a 4.2-km-long timber boardwalk, a mangrove wetland museum, a scenic restaurant and an amusement park for families, as well as other environmental education facilities. Visitors can have a look at the mangroves that grow in swamps and other aquatic plants, as well as animals like flamingos, which are not native to Hainan, and many other kinds of birds.

Yes, Hilton is committed to reducing waste across our portfolio. All of our hotels were required to remove plastic straws, stir sticks and cocktail picks in 2019, and we are currently transitioning from individual bath toiletries to full-size dispensers.
