About us

The Steigenberger Hotel Treudelberg is the perfect venue for conferences and meetings with the option for gala dinner and special events in the evening. 10 individual conference and meeting rooms for up to 250 people as well as variable presentation areas offer a special kind of business in the greenery of Hamburg. Our biggest room Treidelberg 1+2+3 (252 m²) offers space for conferences, workshops or business trainings whereas our smallest rooms can be used for personal interviews or separate working areas. With a total space of more than 120 hectar we are full of ideas for exciting and indvidual incentives - like outdoor segway tours or indoor casino nights - and fancy events like a dinner party on the Driving Range. It offers 131 guest rooms, 2 restaurants, a bistro and a Country Club with a modern fitness center, indoor pool and saunas for the perfect relaxation. The 27-hole golf course leaves a large variety for creative events and incentives.

Two towers with prominent green roofs mark the 205 metres-long terminal between lower harbour, Reeperbahn and Fischmarkt. Located by the Elbe, the Landungsbrücken (lit. landing bridges) were once a landing pier for steam ships and now function as a connector for underground and suburban trains. Additionally, harbour ferries and catamarans depart on their trips to Helgoland. Ferries take every wannabe seafarer down the Elbe river for the price of a regular bus fare. If you book a ticket for the 'Lion King' or 'Wunder von Bern' musicals, the Landungsbrücken ferries will carry you over to the waterfront theatres. The Alter Elbtunnel (lit. old Elbe tunnel) as well as museum ships Rickmer Rickmers and Cap San Diego are also located close to the piers. A variety of restaurants and gift shops go hand in hand with a beautiful view of massive container and cruise ships. Over the last decades, the Piers have also developed into one of Hamburg's most popular promenades.

Fish, fruits, flowers, clothing and souvenirs, you can find almost anything at the St. Pauli Fischmarkt, an institution since 1703. Every Sunday morning from 7.00 to 9.30 a.m., early birds and night owls unite along the shores of the Elbe to barter over fresh fish, regain their spirits over a coffee or simply to enjoy the lively atmosphere. To attract customers, the market barkers outscream each other. This results in a loud and verbose crescendo that both locals and tourists enjoy on a weekly basis. 'Come over here, I'll throw in a salmon for you', is what shoppers hear as they stroll from stall to stall. Yet, what sounds like a bargain might appear too good to be true ─ this you will have to decide for yourself. Not every visitor is there to haul home baskets of fresh produce. Some come to feast on an early morning fish sandwich and some Hanseatic chit chat over beautiful views across the harbour, whilst others put on their dancing shoes in the Fischauktionshalle (lit. fish auction hall). Inside the century-old building, the band keeps spirits up high with live rock and jazz music, attracting party-goers for one last dance after dawn. The bars and clubs of the Reeperbahn being only a few minutes away, the banks of the Elbe are a popular last stop after a rough Saturday night out on the town.
