About us
Essendon Country Club is situated in Bedwell Park, in the scenic, rolling countryside of rural Hertfordshire in the South East of England we can offer you a golfing experience to savour. It is recently refurbished and built around an original 16th Century barn; the Clubhouse has retained many of the original features, including the magnificently beamed function room. In the reception, there is feeling of space which is created by the large entrance hall leading through to the bar lounge and dining area; while upstairs you can dine in our separate dining room, with breathtaking views over the golf course. Our country club is situated in 80 acres of tranquil Hertfordshire countryside, in what was formerly known as Bedwell Park Estate. The Club House possesses an impressive 16th century oak framed barn, perfect for wedding ceremonies and reception offering exclusive use for your special day. The beautiful main barn has the facilities to cater for larger weddings comfortably seating up to 120 and 180 for an evening buffet complete with a mezzanine balcony which is ideal for reception drinks or catering for a smaller, more intimate wedding reception.
