Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna is one of the most beautiful landmarks of Helsinki, in the best spot in town next to the Railway station. The hotel was constructed for the 1952 Olympics, and its unique architecture and interior design still charm visitors. Admire the landscape from the large windows as the city wakes up to a new day. Yes, Plastic straws and stirrers replaced with eco-friendly alternatives offered on request. Branded plastic pens are replaced with recyclable pens. Use of refillable soaps and shampoos where possible. Pins in hotel rooms to help sort plastic waste.
