About us
The River & Rowing Museum offers a highly unusual modern function venue. A stunning building designed by award-winning architect David Chipperfield the Museum is situated overlooking Henley's picturesque water meadows and river. The combination of oak-clad upper walls and large glass windows afford magnificent views of its riverside setting. The galleries and conference rooms are designed to create a spectacular feeling of light and air. The Museum is easily accessible by train, bus, car and boat. The Museum has two dedicated function rooms plus opportunities for Gallery use: The Thames Room is a stunning meeting room suitable for parties, wedding receptions, lectures or conferences with a seating capacity of 100, while Henley Room is a boardroom for up to eight people.
