Visited by more than half a million guests per year, the Loveless Cafe has hosted many special events gathered around a table. Over the years, however, customer requests outgrew the Cafe space! In an effort to offer more services and southern hospitality to a larger number of guests, the property expanded through the construction of the Barn. Hosting live music, corporate events and weddings, it has quickly become a popular event venue in Nashville! The Barn was built with versatility in mind, including a private kitchen where our culinary team could prepare meals for events hosted on-site. As demand grew, Loveless Events Catering was introduced to bring a wide variety of menu items to homes, offices and other venues in the area. Seeing a need for a smaller private event space, the original Loveless Motel Dining Room was converted to the Harpeth Room. Guests have been hosting baby showers, business meetings and even small weddings in this venue ever since. Now, Loveless Events encompasses on-site events and catering in the Barn and the Harpeth Room as well as off-site catering in the Nashville area, always providing a sophisticated southern experience.

Situated below the historical L&C Tower in the heart of Downtown Nashville, Ophelia's offers signature pizza pies, classic Italian entrée's, specialty cocktails and one of a kind dessert experiences. "When we started working on the concept behind Ophelia’s Pizza + Bar, we were really inspired by the classic Shakespearean tragedy, Hamlet,” says Patrick Whalen, co-owner of the 5th Street Group.“ We wanted to reimagine European dining traditions and bring it to downtown Nashville's dynamic atmosphere." The menu focuses on Italian inspired cuisine created by Chef Partners Jamie Lynch and Adam Hodgson utilizing imported Italian ingredients as well as local Nashville products. Chef Jamie boasts an impressive culinary background including Le Cirque, Aureole and Café Boulud. Since opening Church and Union Charlotte in 2012, he has been recognized as Charlotte Magazine’s Best Chef 5 separate times. He competed on Season 14 of Top Chef in Charleston where he made his mark with his controversial decision to give up immunity, the only time in the show’s history, he also competed on Season 17 Top Chef All Stars LA. “We have created a menu that caters to both locals and visitors who are seeking a dining experience that combines the city's character with playful and classic flavors," said Chef Partner Jamie Lynch. "Our dishes are fresh takes on traditional favorites, and we're thrilled to bring another really great dining option to 4th Avenue in downtown Nashville.” Following dinner service each Friday and Saturday, Ophelia's will offer the After-Dinner Party Experience from 10:30pm-3am. The pathway to becoming Chattanooga’s favorite DMC. If you want to know where we came from, we’re going to have to go all the way back to the year 2000 (yep, we’ve been around for a while!). That’s when our company was founded in Tennessee, but back then we were known as Specialty Planners International (SPI). Our primary focus was on meeting and corporate incentive travel planning. It wasn’t long before we moved our headquarters to the glittering lights of Las Vegas, where we worked with corporate clients traveling all over the globe – everywhere from El Salvador to San Francisco. We loved our time under Vegas’ bright neon colors, but in 2014 the hills of Tennessee called us home. After moving our corporate headquarters back to Middle Tennessee, we expanded our offerings to include all DMC services. We found that having our trifecta of offerings made us truly unstoppable – DMC services, meeting planning, and incentive travel all under one umbrella. Our clients were thrilled! We like to keep things fresh, so we soon decided it was time for another change. That’s when we rebranded into Connect Event Group. We felt our new name really encompassed exactly what we do. We connect groups of people through strategic events, meetings, and trips. Along with the new brand, we also moved our company headquarters to beautiful Chattanooga, Tennessee. And the rest, as they say, is history. And that’s how we became the leading Chattanooga DMC!
