The Kent Hotel is a landmark in Hamilton’s heritage; it was built in 1924 and was one of the first hospitality venues on beautiful Beaumont Street. As an important part of our community and Newcastle’s tourist industry we are pleased to offer something for everyone in our venue. The Kent has four bars including the public bar, the saloon bar, The Verandah Bar, The Cocktail bar and The Steak and Seafood Grill. Whether it’s a beer you’re looking for, a night out with your mates, a place to sit and watch the world go by while accessing Beaumont Streets wifi capabilities, a place to watch the latest sporting event on the big screen or somewhere to enjoy a freshly prepared meal you’ll feel welcome at The Kent. The Kents exclusive function room the Verandah Bar is an ideal location for any function in an intimate setting, whether it be celebrating a birthday, wedding, a staff meeting, Christmas party or a social gathering, the verandah bar suits any budget. There are now 3 separate areas to choose from. Some of the features include a fully equipped bar air conditioning open balcony bar tabs available extensive wine list our chefs offer a delicious range of platters to suit any palette.
