Situated below the historical L&C Tower in the heart of Downtown Nashville, Ophelia's offers signature pizza pies, classic Italian entrée's, specialty cocktails and one of a kind dessert experiences. "When we started working on the concept behind Ophelia’s Pizza + Bar, we were really inspired by the classic Shakespearean tragedy, Hamlet,” says Patrick Whalen, co-owner of the 5th Street Group.“ We wanted to reimagine European dining traditions and bring it to downtown Nashville's dynamic atmosphere." The menu focuses on Italian inspired cuisine created by Chef Partners Jamie Lynch and Adam Hodgson utilizing imported Italian ingredients as well as local Nashville products. Chef Jamie boasts an impressive culinary background including Le Cirque, Aureole and Café Boulud. Since opening Church and Union Charlotte in 2012, he has been recognized as Charlotte Magazine’s Best Chef 5 separate times. He competed on Season 14 of Top Chef in Charleston where he made his mark with his controversial decision to give up immunity, the only time in the show’s history, he also competed on Season 17 Top Chef All Stars LA. “We have created a menu that caters to both locals and visitors who are seeking a dining experience that combines the city's character with playful and classic flavors," said Chef Partner Jamie Lynch. Grand Canyon Inn and Motel Locate approximate 20 minutes from Grand Canyon, It is a family-run hospitality company with a long history in Northern Arizona spanning 4 generations. It all started in the early 1950s when a large, hard working family from Canada moved to Arizona to pursue the American Dream. They built the first Grand Canyon Inn and Restaurant (as well as a service station) in a small town between Red Lake and the Grand Canyon.In 1977 the family moved and built the current Grand Canyon Motel in Valle. In 1981 they built the first 33 rooms of The Grand Canyon Inn and Restaurant. Expansions continued with two new wings and a swimming pool in the mid 1990s. Today the Grand Canyon Inn & Motel has 101 rooms. The family also offers water and trash services to the region. As you might imagine, it takes some effort to run such a large company in this rural area.
