Over ons

Faik Pasha Suites & Apartments is een van de Taksim Hotels en is een kleine faciliteit in boetiekstijl in de regio Taksim. Achter de nieuwe gebouwen van Taksim kun je gemakkelijk te voet naar Cukurcuma/Beyoglu gaan en zien hoe de sfeer verandert van modern naar oud. Beyoglu was de eerste praktijk van westerse stadsplanning in het Ottomaanse Rijk (1857). Als burgers van het Ottomaanse Rijk woonden ook Levantijnen, Armeniërs en Grieken in onze Faik Pasha-straat, samen met de moslimfamilies. De Private Italian High School (estb.1870) ligt bijvoorbeeld heel dicht bij Faik Pasha Suites & Apartments en de Firuzaga-moskee (16e eeuw) ligt net om de hoek. We hebben de structuur van onze gebouwen behouden en ze alleen gerestaureerd met respect voor het oorspronkelijke ontwerp toen ze in de XVIIIe eeuw werden gebouwd voor Italiaanse eigenaren, en gebruikten antieke meubels, voorwerpen en schilderijen uit die periode.
