Welcome to the Hotel Gearin, Katoomba, located in the centre of the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area. Amazing natural wonders such as the Three Sisters and Echo Point are located literally at the Hotel’s doorstep. Hotel Gearin offers a warm and comfortable place to rest, where visitors can choose from many local and imported wines and beers check out bands from all walks of life and snuggle up in our comfortable, affordable accommodation. The Blue Mountains offers many beautiful bushwalks that cater to the experienced walkers as well as easier walks suited those just wishing to see a few sites. For the more adventurous there is also abseiling, rock climbing and mountain-biking, all of which can be booked literally 1 minute walk from Hotel Gearin. Base yourself at Hotel Gearin and let the mountains guide you. The centerpiece of the hotel is the classic Australian “long bar” where we serve ice cold Australian and imported draught beers along with a large range of wines, spirits and bottled beers. Espresso coffee and other non-alcoholic refreshments are also available. Cool in summer, the hotel is beautifully warmed by two cozy open fireplaces in winter. Come try our comfortable dining room, serving hearty and inexpensive meals to delight the holiday maker and traveler. The dining room is also available for functions, suitable for 200 guests.
