Southern Sun de Wagen is an elegant boutique hotel in the heart of South Africa’s most famous wine region. A storied history connects Southern Sun de Wagen with South Africa’s early wine and fruit farms of Vredenberg and Lanzerac, and Sir Herbert Baker’s renowned architecture. The establishment’s white-walled Cape Dutch heritage is complemented by elegant interiors across the hotel’s three country houses (Wagenhuis, Kuyperhuis and Roeshuis), which together offer a collection of 22 bedrooms.
