Chi siamo
Weald & Downland Open Air Museum was established to rescue good examples of vernacular architecture – from humble dwellings such as farmhouses, small town and village dwellings, to industrial buildings such as a watermill, blacksmiths forge, carpenters and plumbers workshops – which are threatened with destruction. It is a unique location for your wedding and a tranquil haven from the rush and noise of modern living. Here, over 40 historic buildings set in a beautiful 19th century park provide an outstanding backdrop for your great day. The Museum is pleased to be able to offer venue hire to organizations and businesses. The meeting spaces inside the venue are regularly used for meetings, seminars, conferences and team-building days.
