Shawhill Hotel, Golf and Country Club is founded in 1923 as a nine hole course, many further improvements to the original layout have resulted in the splendid 18 hole par 72 championship golf course of today set in 192 acres of mature parkland, frequented by Nick Dougherty who grew up playing on the course. There are 30 individually styled bedrooms which vary in size and positioning gently reflecting the period of the building. All rooms are en-suite and facilities include Telephone, TV, Hospitality Tray and 24 hour room service. Most rooms include trouser press, ironing boards or are available on request. Weddings are our specialty at Shaw Hill. Situated in the heart of Lancashire, Shaw hill is the perfect wedding venue.
