The Stair Arms Hotel is a family owned and managed hotel promising a warm Scottish welcome, which can cater for your individual requirements. The Hotel is an ideal stopover situated on the main Edinburgh to the Borders route. Here you can be assured that you will receive warm hospitality while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere. There are twelve bedrooms; all are en suite with the exception of one which has a shared bathroom. Included in the twelve bedrooms are one family room, which can sleep up to four guests and there are two suites available for that special occasion. The Stair Arms Hotel is also an ideal venue for weddings, the perfect venue for your perfect day. The Coaching Suite has its own self-contained bar and is suitable for weddings with 21— 120 guests. The room is an extremely bright and sunny room with large windows and double doors that can be opened out onto the garden.

The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Liberated from the confines of a single location, Covert Cocktail Club now brings the speakeasy right to your door—be it at your home, office, bar mitzvah, dinner party, bachelor/ette party or anywhere you choose!
