Higher Melcombe Manor is a peaceful place, whether you want to explore historic mid-Dorset, tramp the byways of the Wessex Ridgeway to the Dorset Gap - or just relax by the side of the fire with a good book. The two acre garden wraps around the house, to south, east and west. The Great Hall can be booked for Civil Ceremonies, weddings and naming ceremonies. The Drawing Room and the Dining room are also licensed - ideal if you are having a small group. It's essential to book the Registrar separately if you want them to officiate.
