Nestled in the lush Willamette Valley, with an easy drive to both the Pacific Ocean and the Cascade Mountains, the University of Oregon is renowned for its research prowess and commitment to teaching.
Autzen Stadium is an outdoor football stadium in Eugene, Oregon, United States. Located north of the University of Oregon campus, it is the home field of the Oregon Ducks of the Pacific-10 Conference. Originally opened in 1967, the stadium has undergone several expansions. The official capacity is 54,000, although attendance is routinely around 59,000 and has exceeded capacity for every game since the most recent expansion in 2002.
At the heart of Eugene's successful bid for the 2008 and 2012 U.S. Olympic Track and Field Team Trials, Hayward Field looms as one of the world's most famous track and field venues.
In 2010, Track Town USA welcomed the NCAA Outdoor Championships for the 10th time since 1962 – the most of any venue in modern history. It's also the only facility to ever host three consecutive U.S. Olympic Trials (1972, 1976, 1980), while six U.S. Championships have graced the storied venue, including recent events in 1999, 2001, 2009 and 2011.
The centerpiece of 'Track Town, USA', Hayward Field attracts athletes, coaches and fans from thousands of miles away because of its renowned crowds well-versed in the sport and ready to roar in approval. Hayward Field's historic, covered grandstands are equally beloved, and comparable to many famous European venues. The 'Carnegie Hall' for American track and field plays host annually to the nation's finest single-day track and field contest, the Prefontaine Classic, which features the top mix of national and international talent on American soil each year.
The University of Oregon's fabled track and field-only facility is named for the first of several legendary coaches, Bill Hayward, who guided the University of Oregon's men's team from 1904-1947.
Hayward Field was initially constructed for football in 1919. Two years later, a six-lane cinder track was installed and a full schedule of track events were transferred from Kincaid Field on the opposite edge of campus. The facility was utilized for both sports until the opening of Autzen Stadium in 1967.
The stadium (current capacity: 10,500) has undergone significant improvements in modern history, including a new track surface, permanent lights, a video board and newly configured infield.
Matthew Knight Arena is a monument to all of us—our common love for Oregon, and the exciting energy that happens when we all join together to cheer for the Ducks. Three major displays on the Concourse are the Anthem to the Fan, the Hero Graphics and the Shroud Wall. Each tells different parts of the story. Together, they express our sense of connection and ownership, our unique and proud heritage, our wild passion, and our unrelenting quest for more championships to come. This Land of the Tall Firs is a special place, inhabited by people who care more deeply about a team that fights even harder.
Art at the Hult Center is Not Just on Stage, Art at the Hult includes a permanent collection on display, as well as work that is architecturally integrated throughout the building.
The Hult Center also hosts temporary exhibits, primarily downstairs in the Jacobs Gallery. The Hult Center for the Performing Arts is a performing arts facility in Eugene, Oregon, that opened in 1982. It is located adjacent to the Eugene Hilton and the Eugene Community Conference Center, which were also completed in 1982, as part of the same urban renewal project. The Hult Center houses 2 performance halls, a meeting venue, a public art gallery, and an off-site outdoor amphitheater.
The area's premier destination. Enjoy a collection of local enchanting stores, restaurants, tasting rooms, and eateries adjacent to two upscale boutique hotels. Stroll through the courtyard. Listen to the splashing sounds of the fountain. Sip on local wines. Connect with friends.

Marché is about celebrating life and the bountiful Pacific Northwest with locally grown and gathered food, prepared with care and served in a lively and elegant atmosphere. We take our name from the French word for market — a word that describes not only our location in Eugene, Oregon’s bustling 5th Street Market, but also our philosophy of cooking
The menu is based on the foods you would find at a farmers market — fresh, seasonal, and regional. We are committed to using only those ingredients that are at their best, so our menu evolves as we move through the seasons of the year. Our culinary technique is French-based — intensely flavored and simply but beautifully presented. We also believe in using the highest quality and most healthful ingredients available and to that end use organic, free range and chemical free products.
The restaurant has an exhibition kitchen featuring a beautiful wood-fired oven, and serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and late night fare. Le Bar offers the same excellent food and drink in a more casual environment, in the style of a Parisian Bar. We also have a private dining room and a large outdoor dining spaces covered with awnings and umbrellas and surrounded by a garden of herbs and edible flowers.
The first Gervais Salon & Day Spa opened its doors in April of 1999, at the corner of 5th and Lincoln Streets. We opened our second location in the 5th St Public Market in June of 2007.
We are a part of the AVEDA family because we believe in providing and using products that are safe and gentle, both to our guests and to our planet. AVEDA's exceptional product performance and respected reputation speaks for itself.
