In the heart of Gothenburg, on the city’s parade street Avenyn, you will find the Elite Park Avenue Hotel with its fine old traditions. Opened in the year 1950, the history of this flagship of Gothenburg hotels has been written by the celebrities that have preferred to stay at the Elite Park Avenue. The hotel has a total of 317 rooms, 48 of which are suites. Elite Park Avenue Hotel is newly renovated and now has the standard you can expect from a modern 4-star hotel. Welcome to our restaurant Park Aveny Café, restaurant Locatelli and our pub 'The Bishop's Arms'. Our conference- and banqueting rooms has been equipped with state of the art technology for lighting, sound and presentation aids. Hotel has 17 conference rooms with capacity for 2–450 people.

The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Liberated from the confines of a single location, Covert Cocktail Club now brings the speakeasy right to your door—be it at your home, office, bar mitzvah, dinner party, bachelor/ette party or anywhere you choose!
