The Story of "Tranz" Trance is a genre of music that is a mix of feel good dance tunes with a lot of repetitive beats and phrases, the music combined with very bright colours is used to create a euphoric sensation. This type of music is endemic to Hikkaduwa. The resort design was re-conceptualized to keep with the current reality of Hikkaduwa as an engaging and transformational seaside holiday. The hotel reflects the easy going, engaging style that could perhaps transport the holidaymaker into an alternate state of consciousness. Hikka Tranz by Cinnamon offers a selection of dining venues: the main restaurant, specialty Crab Restaurant, pool restaurant and coffee shop. A Lounge and pool bar that offers a wide array of local and international spirits; a roof-top spa facility, banquet hall and conference facilities. Moreover the hotel houses a fresh water swimming pool, PADI certified dive centre and an excursion counter.
