The hotel "Villa Basileia" is situated on the bank of the river Tepla in a serene environment close to the Císarske lazne spas and the world-renowned hotels Carlsbad Plaza and Grandhotel Pupp. We will be pleased if the aim of your visit to Karlovy Vary will be our hotel "Villa Basileia". The family hotel Villa Basileia had originated from the reconstruction of a summerhouse formerly belonging to the countess von Schaumburg Lippe, which came to love Karlovy Vary in the nineteenth century. She had her villa built in a New Romanesque style, inside the beautiful valley of the Tepla River, which is the gateway into the spa centre of Karlovy Vary. During the reconstruction of the Villa Basileia into a family hotel, we have managed to preserve the original layout of the aristocratic mansion.
