Chateau Gutsch is located in Lucerne. A grand boutique hotel and restaurant housed in one of Switzerland’s most famous buildings, dating from 1888. We offer our guests premium, modern day amenities and a degree of luxury only usually found in Europe's greatest 5 star hotels. Whilst retaining its historic charm, the Guetsch now boasts a distinguished grand hotel ambience. Our commitment is to provide our guests with the highest levels of service and consistently excellent cuisine. Each of Chateau Guetsch’s 27 rooms and suites have been designed to offer guests a genuinely original experience. No two rooms are the same, with decor rooted in a blend of traditional Swiss colors and patterns; each one has some element of surprise from cozy window bays to beamed ceilings and Victorian plasterwork. Beautiful upholstered canopy beds alternate with antique four-poster beds and French Louis XVI carved sleigh beds, dressed in fine linens and accessories. With panoramic views of the city, mountains and lake, our restaurant has been a destination for residents and visitors alike for over 120 years. With our commitment to outstanding, traditional cuisine and seating on a large outdoor terrace overlooking the city, the Gutsch restaurant offers the most spectacular dining experience in Lucerne. Perfect for an intimate drink or meeting, or to watch fellow guests and the life of the hotel go by. The Knight’s Hall is at the heart of the Guetsch, decorated in duck egg blue and teal – references taken from original 1880's fabric documents and lovingly reproduced for this room in centuries-old Swiss fabric mills.
