Some sustainable design benefits at the Center include: - Reuse of rainwater for irrigation. - Interiors with natural lighting by solar tubs. - Indoor lighting with LED systems. - Water-treatment plant with 400m³ water capacity per day. - Automatic shut-off faucets by mechanical means for most effective use of water. - Use of reflective roofs, walls and sun visors to reduce solar heat. - High-tech and funtional air conditioning with energy saving systems for specific building areas. - Motion sensors for on/off switching. - Solid and liquid waste management, etc.
