Hammond Park is a large urban park in southeastern Sandy Springs. The park is home to the Hammond Park Gymnastics Center, 2 lighted tennis courts, the Hammond Park Athletic Field, and 2 outdoor basketball courts.
The park also includes two large fenced-in playgrounds, a community center, and 2 picnic pavilions. The pavilions are available on a first come, first served basis, but advance reservations can be made in advance. The largest picnic pavilion can accommodate up to 100 people.
