Sutherland Hotel situated 1500m above sea level on the Roggeveld escarpment in the Great Karoo, the village of Sutherland is 100km from the fast paced N1 and about 370km by road north east of Cape Town. Hotel offers 23 comfortable luxury accommodation units. The lounge and dining room has a log fire during those chilly days. The Sutherland Hotel Restaurant offers excellent traditional cuisine from lamb curry, chops, Tripe ('Afval'), Steak, Bobotie. The Hotel also has facilities for conferences and functions.
