We are pleased to announce that The Okura Tokyo has achieved Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR™ accreditation, the gold standard for facilities that are prepared for biorisk situations. Under the guidance of GBAC, a division of the worldwide cleaning industry association ISSA, The Okura Tokyo has implemented the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection and infectious disease prevention in its facility. The Okura Tokyo is the first venue in Japan among the Okura group of hotels and the third among worldwide to achieve the prestigious international accreditation. Michellin Guide has chosed and coveted The Okura Tokyo as one its most prestigious 5 Star Rating Red Pavillion wing , which is another new accredition among the others .
